Smart Water for Healthy Florida Lawns
Irrigation is the difference between a lawn that thrives and a lawn that limps through the summer. A poorly designed system overshoots beds, soaks the sidewalk, and leaves dry patches you'll spend the next season trying to fix. A well-designed system does the opposite, quietly, on schedule, and on a sensible water bill.
Virtuous Care Landscaping installs, repairs, and tunes irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties throughout Gainesville and Alachua County. We follow Florida-friendly water practices and St. Johns River Water Management District guidelines on every job.

01
What We Do
- 01
New System Design and Installation
Full sprinkler systems designed around your property layout, sun exposure, soil type, and water source. Zones laid out for even coverage with the right head type for each area.
- 02
Repairs and Diagnostics
Broken heads, leaking valves, cut lines, low pressure, controller faults, we diagnose and fix it. We carry common parts on the truck so most repairs are one visit.
- 03
Zone Tune-Ups
Heads adjusted for proper arc and reach, runtimes set per zone and per season, pressure checked, and coverage verified end-to-end.
- 04
Smart Controller Setup
Install and program Wi-Fi enabled controllers (Rachio, Hunter Hydrawise, Rain Bird) so your system adjusts to weather and you can manage it from your phone.
- 05
Rain Sensor and Backflow Inspection
Florida code requires a working rain sensor on every system. We install, test, and replace sensors, plus inspect backflow preventers for compliance.
- 06
Drip Irrigation for Beds
Low-volume drip lines for planting beds and trees. Better for plant health, less evaporation, and far less wasted water than spray heads in beds.
02
Why Florida Properties Need More Than a Timer
Florida's wet season and dry season are completely different watering problems. A controller set in March will overwater in July and underwater in October. We program seasonally, account for restrictions in your district, and pair the system with a working rain sensor so the heads don't run in a downpour.
03
Our Process
- 01
Site Walk and Audit
We test every zone, mark broken or misaligned heads, check pressure, and inspect the controller and rain sensor.
- 02
Scoped Estimate
You get a clear written estimate with the repairs, parts, and any recommended upgrades broken out.
- 03
Repair or Install
Repairs are typically same-week. New installs are scheduled with a clear start and finish date.
- 04
Program and Walk Through
We program the controller for the current season, walk you through the schedule, and leave the system in working order, every time.
